Long Distance Moving

Walsh Moving & Storage will move your items to all 48 states. Like all longhaul movers, we charge by the weight and miles of your shipment. We will take a 1,000 lbs minimum while most movers will charge you a 4,000 lbs minimum.

If you are moving out of the Los Angeles area, Walsh is local and we can pick up any day you would wish. Depending on where you are going, delivery is estimated to be 3 - 15 days after pick up.
If you are not in Southern California, Walsh can still service your move. We can pick up and take your goods anywhere in the country.

Unlike other movers, Walsh will give you a guaranteed price for the list of items you would like to ship. We do not weigh your shipment unless you want us to. Walsh is not a moving broker. We are a local independent company, most local moving companies are an agent for van lines. They may pass your job on to a company not in California and receive a commission. With Walsh, you work with one company all the way through.

All pieces of furniture will be blanket wrapped, with specially designed moving blankets (included in the move).

Free use of wardrobe boxes (to be brought the day of the move and taken back when your move is complete).

Storage is available if you are not able to accept your goods right away.

We accept payment in forms of: cash, check, or credit card but with credit card there is a 3% surcharge.
