| As an independent interior design firm in the South Bay, I need a reliable receiving facility for furniture products I purchase from manufacturers. I was given Walsh Moving & Storage name from one of my suppliers and decided to try them on a most recent order. Not only did they receive the furniture, they un-boxed it and inspected it for any quality defects, prior to delivery to my client. They also assembled the product on site. The entire experience was great. Both my client and I were extremely pleased as the guys were both efficient and professional. There pricing was very fair and worth every penny. I'm pleased to develop this new relationship with Walsh Moving and Storage and know I will be using them in the future. It's nice because they will do as little or as much as you like. | Dear Thomas, It was certainly a pleasure having Walsh Moving & Storage assist us with our move. Though I let my fingers do the walking in the yellow pages, when I cam across your ad and called, the very first person I spoke to was Pat, she immediately made me feel I could trust her personally and that I was not going to become just another customer. I was made to feel that she really understood what my wife and I was going through with an un-expected move. We had to load my deceased mother-in-law's home in Los Angeles and then on to another pick-up in Bellflower then on to our new home in Pico Rivera. Her assistance and knowledge was very vital to a smooth move, we even paid less then we thought we would, so we're happy campers for sure. I would also like to comment the movers also, Mario, Jerry and Earnest were certainly hard working men, who went through great pains to ensure my wife's and mother-in-law's elephant and clown collection went undamaged as well as our crystal collection was in tack. And though we were moving into a brand new home, Mario and his team rolled out the red carpet for us and not a new wall was gouged or the white carpet stained. Their suggestions proved very valuable and just made plain sense from a movers point of view. Please send along my wife's and I deepest thanks for a job well done. My wife Pat and I will recommend Walsh Moving & Storage to our friends and business partners whenever there is a need to move locally or long distance (the movers and not the shakers). | Walsh Moving Company provided staff and equipment to move all of the books on the Upper Level of Katy Geissert Civic Center Library in 2004. This involved shelving half of the collection onto carts, then moving those carts to the other side of the large floor. When the floor was half finished, they came back and moved the other half of the collection. During all of their time here we found their staff to be very professional and easy to work with. This was a complex move and for the Youth Services are involved them replacing the children's books into a completely new configuration after the remodel was completed. | Good Morning: We used Walsh Movers to re-locate last Friday, Jan 14. I want to compliment you on having at least two employees who do your company proud! What could have been a wrenching, disorganized experience for us turned out to be not nearly as bad as we had anticipated. Jorge and Jerry made our moving day if not pleasant, at least bearable. These two guys went about the job like real professionals. A move from a tri-level townhouse in Redondo to a tri-level in Torrance has to be just about as hard as the job gets. Yet they ran up and down the stairs at both ends of the move as though they actually ENJOYED the workout!! My thanks to you for sending two very hard working guys who got the move done efficiently, within budget and in great time. I will feel quite comfortable recommending Walsh Movers to any friends or family contemplating a move, and if those guys ever go out on their own. | This is our second move with Walsh Movers and a move that we were impressed to the point that we recommend this company anytime we hear from people who are moving and need movers.Our first move we had antiques that were heavy and fragile.No problems noted. Dear Tom, My husband and I have moved many times, domestically and internationally and no company has touched yours in terms of service, punctuality or cost. Our sincerest thanks to you and your staff for the most amazing service ever possible in our move from California to Connecticut. Our furniture etc. was picked up on 3/11/2010 and delivered 3/18/2010 - yes, during the worst storms the East Coast had endured in 50 years, the driver Richard still made it!! Thankfully the day the truck arrived it was a beautiful day and, may I add, the men arrived bright and early (as they did for pick-up) and worked right through...they didn't stop until finished. On top of which, NOTHING was damaged - my plants even arrived safely!!! WALSH IS THE BEST - lovely, lovely people with the most wonderful attitude - giving their clients the best service.
